Last Friday, year 4 went as a whole year group to Holy Family church to pray the rosary with Father Benjamin. It was so nice to have this moment as a year group to understand the reasons behind praying the rosary and this was particularly special as we are now in the month of Mary.

In computing, we have been collating images for our Big Help Out project, considering how we use energy and how we can be more energy efficient. These images will then be used in our art lessons later in the term.

Last term, we looked at the diary of a Ukrainian refugee (You Don’t Know What War Is), and we have built on this in our writing unit this term. The children are very passionate about the experiences of refugees and are writing speeches to encourage people to do something about the refugee crisis.

In maths, we are investigating shape, considering the language we use to describe shape and discovering the different types of angles, including obtuse and acute!
