School Council blog

As we start the new year, we are being mindful of the small daily actions we can make to improve our school and have an impact on the environment. Alongside part of our Live Simply work, School Council members will be reminding others to conserve one of Earth's most precious resources - water. We will be making sure unused water from water jugs waters our plants around the school. We have also created reminders for turning off the taps when we are not using them. We will also be spreading the word on how we can save water at home. See below for the following tips from our School Council members:

'Turn off the taps when you are brushing your teeth'

'Make sure you turn off the tap properly if you hear it dripping'

'If possible, take a shower instead of a bath as you use much less water'

'Carry out a water survey like we did at school and see where you are wasting water'
