Year 6 blog - History

Year 6 have been building up their knowledge around the events that occurred during WWII in History. Through their English, they have created emotive poems to depict the events and emotions the British people would have felt during the Blitz. Some wrote from the perspective of a soldier, others as an evacuee. They took their sketching skills from last half term and used water colours to illustrate alongside their poems through a symbolic icon: a poppy.
