As you are aware, we had a visit from Her Majesty’s Inspector, Catherine Old at the end of last term. We are very proud to say that we received the best possible outcome and HMI were very pleased with the improvements and work in our school. You will see that there is a recommendation for a further inspection to investigate whether we are now ‘Outstanding’:
“I am of the opinion that the school has demonstrated strong practice and marked improvement in certain areas. This may indicate that the school is improving towards being outstanding.”
We are incredibly proud of all of the teachers, support staff, children and leaders at our school. It is heartening that the HMI noted our ethos of ‘God, Love and Family’ pervading all we do. It was also wonderful to note that our strong family ethos is recognised as a clear strength.
We thank staff for their focus and hard work to ensure all children achieve their best:
“Pupils achieve highly because leaders and staff are determined that they do so”
We were super pleased that our children behaved as they always do – brilliantly – and gave witness to their everyday learning:
“Pupils are well behaved around the school and in lessons. Pupils exhibit impressive attitudes to learning, including increasing resilience as they progress through the school. Classrooms are organised, studious places. Pupils respond very well to the interesting curriculum.”
Parent comments were lovely and they really lifted our spirits. We thank you for trusting us to educate your children and your continued support.
Finally a big thank you for every member of the school team who gave not only their time, but extra hours to make sure that we were all ready to show our very best. We are very proud.
