Year 5 - Children's Mayor Candidate

Children in Year 5 have been busy coming up with creative and inspiring manifestos to become the next Children's Mayor of Southampton. Today, the School Council came together to vote on the manifesto that they thought would have the most impact. The idea that got the most votes was Olivia's. Olivia has come up with a wonderful idea that she feels will impact children and adults who live and work across Southampton by introducing gardening clubs to all local schools. Olivia believes this will not only improve the biodiversity of the local area but will tackle air pollution as well as help to get children active and improve overall well being. Well done Olivia, you are truly inspiring - showing us how we can be architects of a better world. We wish you the best of luck with the rest of the application process!
