We have had a busy week here in Year 5! Earlier in the week we visited Into-University where we delved into some university experiences such as folding clothes, food shopping and paying bills! As well as this we explored all the different ways in which we can study from seminars to lectures including practical activities! We created a promotional campaign which we later delivered through an engaging presentation.

On Ascension Day (Thursday) we enjoyed an outdoor collective worship in our sensory garden. We discussed how Jesus ascended to Heaven and how this links to our butterflies that we have been looking after. Unfortunately, our butterflies were not quite ready for release but we hope to do so soon, despite this we did manage to capture a glimpse of Year 1’s released butterflies.

In the classroom, Year 5 have been working hard to create our spy gadgets that can be used by M16 -these vary from Lipstick lazers, a truth telling perfume to a camouflaging umbrella.  We cannot wait to see the final published pieces next week!
